Step 9. Apply Clipping transformation.
 
A. With the "star enhancement" layer in the Layers tab highlighted, click on the Mapping tab.

 

B. In the Mapping tab, click on the add icon.

 
This will cause the Select Transformation dialog box to appear.

 

C. In the Select Transformation dialog box, in the root of the library, not in any folder, select the "Standard.uxf" transformation file, and, within this file, couble-click on the "Clipping" transformation.

 
This will cause a Clipping transformation to appear in the upper window of the Mapping tab, above the Kaleidoscope transformation.

 
The image should now appear like this:

 
The "star enhancement", with its soft white center and bluish tint, is unintentionally clipped out because of the Clipping layer defaults. We will correct this next.

 

D. In the Mapping tab, with the "Clipping" transformation highlighted, type in the following parameters:

 
The image should now look like this:

 
This completes construction of the "star enhancement" layer. Now all that remains to complete the image is to set the layer properties for all layers with their final values. You can get a head start on this by Shift-Clicking on the Visible icon for the "star enhancement" layer once or twice until the Visible icons for all the layers come on and all the layers become visible.
