Step 6. Adjust magnification. |

| A. | With the "star enhancement" layer highlighted, click on the Location tab.

| B. | Type, or copy and paste, the following number into the Magnification parameter of the Location tab: 548.6564
The reduced image should look like this:
Now, to see what all this means in terms of the overall image, we'll bring the "star" layer into the image along with the "star enhancement" layer.

Step 7. Turn on visibility of "star" layer. |

| A. | In the Layers tab, click the Visible icon for the "star" layer to the on position.
Make sure the "star enhancement" layer remains highlighted.
The composite image of the "star" and "star enhancement" layers, interacting through the "Lighten" Merge Mode, should look like this:
The next step is to pan the "star enhancement" layer upward and slightly to the left until the star in the "star enhancement" layer is centered over the star in the "star" layer.

| A. | Type, or copy and paste, the following number into the Center (Re) parameter (the X value): 1.151770985061
Then type, or "copy and paste", the following number into the Center (Im) parameter (the Y value): 0.25271292479465
The image should now look like this:
This is just right. Now let's get rid of the patterns outside the area of the star.
