Step 6. Magnify image. We'll develop the "space ring" layer by altering it using the five Location tab parameters: Magnification, Rotation Angle, Center (X, or real, and Y, or imaginary, values), Stretch, and Skew.
Originally I developed these quantities by key-and-mouse drags, observing as the figure changed. I'll give you the values that I determined in this way for you to type, or copy and paste, into the Location tab parameters.
| A. | With the "space ring" layer highlighted, click on the Location tab.
| B. | Type, or copy and paste, the following number into the Magnification parameter of the Location tab: 2.0627438
Step 7. Rotate image. |
| A. | Type, or copy and paste, the following number into the Rotation Angle parameter: 112.1874
As a next step, we'll pan the image slightly upward and to the right.
Step 8. Pan image. |
| A. | Type, or copy and paste, the following number into the Center (Re) parameter (the X value): -2.774476012
Then type, or copy and paste, the following number into the Center (Im) parameter (the Y value): -0.98381689175
Step 9. Stretch image. |
| A. | Type, or copy and paste, the following number into the Stretch parameter: 2.8272
The final alteration to the developing "space ring" image will be a skew.
Step 10. Skew image. |
| A. | Type, or copy and paste, the following number into the Skew Angle parameter: -58.0322
All that is required now is to trim a little off of the bottom.
