I thought it would be good to try to use a variation of the "lords 1" layer, itself, as the coloring layer, retaining as much of the original image makeup as possible -- at least the basic fractal formula and the same formula gradient. In an overlay situation, the Lake transformation would have to be removed to avoid moire and other conflicts and to reduce recognizability as a derivative of the "lords 1" layer.
