Step 8. Adjust location. |

| A. | Under the preceding operations, the image has undergone a huge transformation from its original appearance. This last step, the "Coloring" step, has brought out powerful dramatic possibilities. The next task is to search for some good portion of the fractal to use for the image. This could involve moving ("panning") the image left or right or up or down to bring new areas into view, or it could involve zooming in or out, or both. It's like a whole universe, from the atom to the galactic, waiting for our exploring eyes.
Pan down by Ctl-Dragging the image approximately one image-height until the image looks like this:

| B. | The panning in the preceding step illustrates a little of the technique to search for a promising image location. The real complexity comes in in the third dimension, zooming, which was not necessary in this image.
You can click on the Location tab to see the exact location values (translation, rotation, magnification, and several other location values).

|
| C. | Fine-tune the location. Copy the block of location text located here to the clipboard by highlighting it and clicking Ctl-C; paste it into the Location tab by clicking on the Paste icon in the Location tab.
