Ultra Fractal Tutorial - The Making of "Lords of Arrakis"
Introduction.

Dear reader,

I created this tutorial to provide answers to some of the many questions I've seen people asking on forums only to learn that individual questions frequently cannot be simply or briefly answered.

This tutorial starts at the very beginning and goes in detail through all the steps of creating "Lords of Arrakis," being profusely illustrated with screen shots. In order to include as many people as possible and cover a maximum of unforeseeable needs, it assumes only a rudimentary knowledge of Ultra Fractal, spelling everything out in detail.

I spent considerable time and effort trying to make it as conveniently navigable as possible.

Though I'm a writer, I purposely abandoned some of the rules of grammar, such as the usage of bold and italics, and the positioning of final commas inside quotation marks.

I use quotation marks to set off values to enter in parameters, therefore I don't want to raise the question of whether a comma or period within the quotation marks is because of grammatical needs or, rather, because it is part of the parametric value. I even leave periods off where sentences end with the value of a parameter. And to avoid confusion related to consistency, I even follow these apparently bad rules of grammar where I don't have to.

I hope this tutorial really helps you!
