Layers Index and Creation Index in the chart above are inventions of this tutorial and are not a part of the Layers Window. The Layers Index is the relative position of a given layer in the stack of layers, counting from the bottom layer (1) to the top layer. The Creation Index is the order of creation of a given layer, the first layer to be created bearing the Creation Index of 1.
